Hex Conquer is a free online turn-based strategy game in your browser: take area control of a small hex map against three simple AI opponents, attacking adjacent enemy hexes and reinforcing your largest territory each turn. Tap or click one of your hexes (2+ troops), then tap an adjacent enemy hex to attack. Tap End turn to reinforce and let the AIs move. Keyboard: Enter or E ends your turn, Esc clears the selection. Works on touch and desktop.
How to play Hex Conquer
- You and three AI players each own hexes on a small map; every hex holds a number of troops.
- Tap one of YOUR hexes with 2 or more troops to select it — adjacent enemy hexes you can attack light up.
- Tap a highlighted enemy hex to attack: both sides roll, and if your roll beats theirs you capture the hex and move your troops in.
- Lose the roll and your attacking hex drops to a single troop, so pick favourable fights.
- Press End turn to gain reinforcements based on your largest connected territory, then watch the three AIs take their turns.
- Win by taking the whole map (or holding the most hexes when the turn cap hits); you lose if you're wiped out. Build a win streak.
